Lucine’s life took a major turn when she met the brothers and sisters in HOPE Evangelical Church Zahle. She said happily, “Everything in my life became much better. I started to love the bible study program, and later the discipleship program.”
After attending some missional leadership lessons, Lucine got baptized after things were clearer to her, and was sure that Jesus’ grace saved her. She felt like having a new family in Christ with which she is now able to interact, share her plans and struggles, and love dearly.
Though Lucine used to be a student in a Christian school supervised by nuns, and though the Bible was not foreign to her, she was not as close to God or Jesus as she is today. Due to the missional leadership lessons and Bible study lessons, she became more interested in the Bible and biblical passages.
She is now able to differentiate between the Old and New Testaments and their importance; she learned how both are linked beautifully and is now able to study the Bible on a deeper level.
