Each child has been created by God for significance; for making a positive difference in the world to which they were born. Your prayers play a key role in this next generation of children.
Did you know there are Prayer Partners all around the USA that are praying for our students and the work God is doing through them?
Next month our prayer team is focusing on the students in our H.O.P.E. (Helping Overcome Poverty through Education) Program. Heart for Lebanon has 975 registered students for the 2023/24 academic year and each one needs prayer in order to overcome poverty of the body, soul, and spirit.
We are asking you to pray as we begin this school year….
- That each student will feel God’s divine protection and not feel alone and afraid. Through their Godly teachers they will see Christ’s love portrayed to them and learn to rest in God’s faithfulness.
- That the students will feel the comfort of Christ. Most have witnessed violence and destruction and many have lost parents, siblings, family, friends, their home and all they cherish due to war or persecution.
- That God will bring clarity, insight, and wisdom to each child we serve; that they may grow in their understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and that God will multiply their spiritual fervor and provide opportunities for them to serve others.
As you can tell, Heart for Lebanon’s H.O.P.E. Program is a vital ministry for us. It provides the next generation with a value-based education and a chance to put their faith in Jesus Christ that will give each child, in the years ahead, a positive influence in society.
This prayer ministry needs more people like you are who are skilled at offering hope through fervent prayer.
